◎ Background/History: Wikia
◎ Is the character a hacker and/or do they have a sixth-sense? Nope!

◎ Personality:

Lissa is the princess of the Halidom of Ylisse, and the youngest of the three royal children. Her sister, Emmeryn, is the queen and Exalt; wise far beyond her years, beloved by her people, a paragon of serenity even in the midst of the chaos of war. Her brother, Chrom, is a leader of armies; wielder of the legendary blade Falchion, respected by all under his command, a tower of strength and righteousness.

That’s two tough acts to follow, and Lissa is well aware.

She’s not the saintly, goddess-like figure her sister is. She speaks casually and candidly, with only a tertiary awareness of how ladylike or un-ladylike she’s being. She’s afraid of bugs (and a great deal of other things), a notorious prankster, and "most likely to snort" according to her in-game profile. She proudly proclaims herself to be the best slacker in all of Ylisse. A goofball through and through, Lissa is well-loved by most of Chrom’s army, and it has little to do with her lofty status.

Despite this, Lissa's self-esteem is not the best. This was likely rooted in her childhood. Generally, members of the Ylissean royal bloodline are born with a "brand," or a symbol of the house somewhere on their body. Both Emmeryn and Chrom have one, but Lissa, for whatever reason, was born without one. This has caused her to have doubts, and she's gone as far as wondering if she's even a real princess.

As unlike her siblings as Lissa is, she strives to be more like them. Her "secret" life goal is to be more like Emmeryn—a real lady in her mind, and ultimately her biggest idol. With very little memory of her parents, Emmeryn was almost like a mother and a sister to her. Lissa confesses to Chrom in a support conversation that she feels like "dead weight" next to him and Emmeryn. Claiming the notion is nonsense, Chrom orders her to go ask everyone in the camp how she can be a better princess. When the result is overwhelmingly that she's fine exactly how she is, Chrom tells her it's because she makes people happy, and that's something neither he nor Emmeryn can do. It shows that, while she may not always believe it, Lissa has an important part to play in their army, and it's not just curing stomachaches.

With that said, Lissa has a long way to go before she achieves her dream of being a lady. She's a terrible cook, a terrible seamstress, and has a variety of very un-ladylike traits (such as calling her brother "jerkface" and trying to eat and talk at the same time). Despite being grossed out by them, she'll happily go catch a dozen frogs for the purpose of slipping them into people's shirts—as she tells Robin, she's willing to make sacrifices in the name of comedy. It definitely shows that she's the youngest of the three royals. It's not surprising that she ended up this way when you consider that Emmeryn was charged with running the entire country at a very young age, and with their parents gone Lissa probably did not have a lot of time with her to learn what it means to be a lady. Instead she's often told by Chrom to simply "grow up" and stop slacking off, which, while a legitimate complaint, is not terribly constructive.

But above all, Lissa is kind. In her supports with her best friend, Maribelle, we learn that Maribelle was shunned by her peers, and Lissa was the first person to attempt to befriend her. Because of this, Maribelle is extremely loyal to Lissa, and she considers Lissa to be the most kind-hearted woman in all of Ylisse. Lissa's a dork, a prankster, a slacker, and sometimes a wuss, but more than any of those things she is unfailingly friendly to everyone around her. Her brother's army wouldn't be the same without her.

◎ Powers/Abilities:
In terms of her role in the army, Lissa is primarily a healer. She starts the game as a Cleric, which can only heal and has no combat capabilities. From there, her main choices for class upgrade are Sage (healer/magic caster) or War Cleric (healer/axe fighter), but for the purposes of Cerealia she will probably remain a Cleric.

◎ Weapons & Other Special Inventory:
Since Clerics can't use weapons, Lissa uses healing staves. A Cleric heals using staves imbued with specific healing spells; a staff can only facilitate the use of one spell. A different spell requires a different staff. Lissa will come equipped with a Mend staff (close-range heal), a Physic staff (long-range heal), and a Rescue staff (teleports the target to her side).
